Installation Guide

Select your platform below to view instructions on how to install and activate Betafied:

Windows 10 / 11 (Bedrock Edition)

  1. Download the Betafied.mcaddon file above.
  2. Double-click the downloaded .mcaddon file. Minecraft will open automatically and import both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack.
  3. When creating or editing a world:
    • Under Behavior Packs, activate Betafied BP.
    • Under Resource Packs, activate Betafied RP.
    • Under Experiments, ensure Beta APIs is enabled.
  4. Launch world and experience pure Beta 1.7.3!

Android

  1. Download the Betafied.mcaddon in Chrome or your mobile browser.
  2. Open your Downloads folder, tap the .mcaddon file, and choose Open with Minecraft.
  3. Wait for the notification in Minecraft confirming "Import Successful".
  4. Activate both packs in your world settings with the Beta APIs experimental toggle turned ON.

iOS / iPadOS

  1. Download Betafied.mcaddon in Safari.
  2. Tap the download icon in Safari, select the file to open it in the Files app.
  3. Long-press the file, tap Share, and select Minecraft.
  4. Minecraft will launch and automatically install the addon.

Bedrock Dedicated Server (BDS)

  1. Extract the .mcaddon (or download separate BP and RP .mcpack files).
  2. Rename .mcpack extensions to .zip and extract them into your server's behavior_packs/ and resource_packs/ folders.
  3. Add the pack UUIDs to your server's world_behavior_packs.json and world_resource_packs.json.
  4. Restart BDS. Connecting players will receive textures and sounds automatically upon joining!
